Who invented glossy textbooks? They serve no purpose.
- You can't annotate with ink pens or use highlighters because they would smudge.
- You can't annotate with pencils because you can't really see what you wrote.
- You can't appreciate the colourful pictures because they don't make studying any less boring.
- You can't understand a thing because you don't have such a long attention span to finish reading the entire book.
- You can't digest the information because they write long winded explanations that go on forever.
What's the purpose of a textbook if you can't do any of the above? Just do away with the colours and glossy finishings. Even if we don't read the book, at least we could save some money.

twenty nine: the sky above, the field below
thirty: tired "I can get through this. I can get through this. I can get through this. I will get through this."

Guess what? I'm considering discontinuing my 365 project. That's just so typical of me. Reasons being, lack of inspiration, lack of environment and lack of time. So I was thinking - instead of coming up with crappy shots everyday, why not come up with better shots once every few weeks? Quality over quantity, I suppose.
At least you'll have something better to look forward to and not get more and more disappointed everyday, like me. At least I've not given up on photography. I'll probably just finish up on the month, just 3 more days to go. This is kind of sad because this was one of the resolutions for 2010. Oh well.
Any thoughts on this? |
